1. Never over crowd your loft.
2. Never allow droppings to accumulate.
3. Never let your pigeon waste their energy, when not needed.
4. Never leave grains in the loft after feeding.
5. Never basket your pigeons if they are not in good condition.
6. Never be afraid of a big jump for a fit pigeon.
7. Never overfeed your birds on return from a race.
8. Never frighten your pigeons when they are flying into the loft.
9. Never breed from an old hen.
10. Never keep a weak pigeon.
11. Never expect a pigeon to race and breed at the same time.
12. Never overbreed and never overfeed.
13. Never let the eggs get a chill whilst sitting.
14. Never buy pedigree
15. Never neglect them either in feeding, training or breeding.
16. Never feed your pigeons before basketing for training or a race.
17. Never make sudden movements in the loft.
18. Never race your young birds when going through heavy moults.
19. Never shed tears over a pigeon that failed to return home.
