The Turnip
The Tturnip is known to be effective in increasing the appetite, treating anemia, coughs and other respiratory ailments. Turnips are high in dietary fiber, vitamin c, vitamin b6, folate, sulfur magnesium, calcium, potassium and copper. It is low in saturated fat and cholesterol.

Medicinal uses
Turnips help produce blood cells due to its high iron and copper content. It also purifies the blood and is considered to be an effective treatment for anemia. Its high vitamin A,B and C content helps eaqualise the nervous system and fight infectous diseases.

Turnip is most effective in treating repiratory ailments. Its expectorant effect helps relieve coughs, sore throats and bronchitis. A mixture of turnip and honey is a good treatment for asthma. Turnip extract is used to treat diabetes due to its insullin-like effect. Turnip syrup strengthens the memory.

Turnips are considered an ideal product for maintaining optimum health as it increases the growth rate and strengthens bones.

Healthy Eggs
Collect 5 chicken egg shells, boil them for 3 minutes in 2 litres of water, sieve and allow to cool. Then give this water to the pigeon before feeding a few days before the hens are about to lay.

This liquid will provide enough calcium for your pigeon to lay healthy, glossy eggs. It cost nothing!
